Thank you for visiting the Jaiya Mongkol web page. You can
add your name and comments
to our guestbook!
Hardly a day goes by that I don't think about my visit to Thailand earlier this year and a lot of my fondest memories are of my stay in Chiang Mai at your beautiful home. The beautiful gardens, eating breakfast on the patio in the morning, chatting with Norman about Chiang Mai, how helpful you were showing us around and recommending local sights; all of these stick in my mind. To those of you out there considering a visit to Chiang Mai I couldn't recommend this B+B more highly.
Oh, how often I think about your beautiful home and lovely gardens! It's been three years since I was your guest. I long to return and enjoy your warm hospitality again. Linda (Formerly of Sunnyvale California)
We highly recommend Jaiya Mongkol. We learned about Norachai's B&B in a 29Jan06 S.F. Chronicle Follow the Reader entry. It was all true! Norachai provided a driver who picked us up at the airport at midnight and Norachai graciously welcomed us at that hour! He helped us plan a 5 day agenda that included sight seeing, an elelphant camp visit, cooking school and in- room three hour Thai massage. Every day started wikth a delicious breakfast in a beautiful garden, after being awakened by the crowing of neighborhood roosters! Staying at Jaiya Mongkol was the ideal way to experience Chiang Mai.
Excellent service and we had to leave you with broken hearts. But wealready made a decision to make our trips here a every year habit. Even the sites are great.
Great place, good and always joyful staff. I will recommend this place to all my friends. You made our visit special. Thanks.
We spendt 4 days in November at the Jaiya Mongkol and the place is truly refine. You will feel a real attention both to your comfort and to the success of you journey in the Chang Mai area. If you want to take a break from hotels but you do not have the chance to visit good Thai friends, try this upper class B&B.
we enjoyed our stay with Khun Norachai and his staff very much. Can't beat the real thai feeling of tender loving care and attention to detail...! the unique creations of breakfast compositions by the chef himself, served in the most authentic setting, always started the day perfectly and blended in with all the other small finesses to make our holidays special! thanks & see you again soon!
I had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home set in gorgeous gardens, in November of 2005. Their hospitality was impeccable. I spent my days exploring the area with Joe, their guide, who was an incredible resource and great company. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thanks for a wonderful time and for showing us around Chang Mai, I look forward to our next visit.
My wife, 14 year old daughter and I spent five nights at Khun Norachai's wonderful Jaiya Mongkol. It was a real treat with very comfortable accomodations and a tour guide who was the best -- Khun Joe. Khun Norachai and Khun Joe were able to help us find what we wanted to do and tailor made our tours and adventures. We started out with a tour of old Chaing Mai, the museum, and getting a feel for the ancient Lanna capital. We started off the next day with a gourmet breakfast and visited the incredible Wat on hill and did some shopping at different craft villages. Another day we went bamboo rafting and got drenched in a 30 minute deluge which we laughed at. We also went elephant and ox cart riding which was memorable. Later on, Khun Joe drove us to the farthest north point in Thailand and we crossed the border to Myanmar and took a fun long tail boat trip on the Mekong to Laos. What a great five nights we had. The acoompdations were so comfortable and so homey. It was a delight to stay at the Jaiya, to meet Khun Norachai and Khun Joe and to find what felt like the "heart" of Chaing Mai. In a few months, the Night Safari will open (November) which is just down the road from Khun Norachai's home. The maids were able to do laundry for us which was nice after having traveled for some time. Touring northern Thailand with the assistance of Khun Norachai and Khun Joe was a real special highlight of our travels in Thailand
David & Julie Howell. Graham & Kathy Keeble. We were privileged to stay from 24th - 28th February 2005. Our stay was wonderful. Such a beautiful home and gracious host and hostess. Having Joe look after us was the best idea. Without him to arrange the visits to all the various places and especially restaurants, we would never have seen what we did. We already have friends and colleagues wanting to find out more about the house and we are looking forward to a return in the future. Anyone wanting a true taste of Thailand, stay at The happy Winner. Thank you again
We want to thank you once more for your part in the great time we had in Chang Mai in your wonderful resort. It really was a happening for us to stay there! We appriciated your personal and friendly approach. You're a nice host and 'The Happy Winner' seems to us a part of Paradise. Thank you too, that you asked Khun Joe to be our guide. He really was perfect. When we parted, we both had the feeling, we said good-bye to friends. Now we are at home and things are 'as usual'. Our trip to Thailand is stored in our memory as something very special. The foto's are in some albums and we look at them often, together and with our family and friends. Since we're back in Holland it's winter. We had lots of snow, low temperature (one night 12 degrees frost). We must say, that we enjoyed the snow very much. Of course we made some foto's. I send you some of them: those I took from the window of my flat in Amsterdam (you can imagine what we see if we look outside, so totally different from what you see around.) We wish you and your family all the best in future and we hope, we'll meet again!
We had the pleasure of staying at Jaiya Mongkol for 4 nights in February of 2005. Jaiya Mongkol is a Jewel. The hospitality shown to us by Mr. Norachai and his family was outstanding. We would also like to thank Joe for the time he spent driving and telling us of all the local sites around Chiang Mai. We will come again to stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We highly recommend Jaiya Mongkol. Also a big hi to the young ladies that took such good care of us.
My daughter and I stayed at Jaiya Mongkol for three days in December 2004. We enjoyed our stay thanks to Khun Norachai's warmth and hospitality. We also had a great time touring Chiang Mai thanks to Joe, our guide, who went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Once again, many thanks to Khun Norachai and Joe.
We stayed at Jaiya Mongkol in May 2004. This B & B offers a window to the Thai way of life and a convenient starting off point for touring in north-west Thailand. Mr. Norachai is a knowledgeable and generous host. Although I have visited Chiang Mai before, he was able to show me areas that I have not seen before. It makes a lot of difference to have a local who can speak perfect English and who can make all the local touring arrangements. In many ways, Jaiya Mongkol is a destination in itself. If you are looking for a short break with your family, this place offers privacy, good food (don't miss the Chiang Mai pork curry - it's even better than the ones at the Riverside or Aroon Rai; if you are fortunate enough to visit during the lychee season, you are in for a treat), and a nice dose of Thai culture.
I cant spell ,so forgive me . chaing mai has been my dream for many years''''' this guest book ,tells so meany things. I have 2 weeks to stay . from what you say home base is here. My girlfriend and i spent 3nights at JAIYA MONGKOL in march 2003,we had a great time thanks to NORACHAI and his family. The house in traditional Thai style is the most wonderfull place i have stayed on my manny travels to Thailand. So if you are planing a trip to Chiang mai,Thailand and you are looking for something special look no further it doesn"t get anny better!!!! NORACHAI,NARUEMOL and JOE,JOE thanks for a GREAT TIME hope to see all off you soon greetings and love DEBBY and MICK.
I want to thank you, Norachai, for extending so much warmth and hospitality to me on my solo travels to Thailand. You welcomed me into your home and escorted me to magnificent private events during my stay -- easing my anxiety about travelling so far alone. I had neglected to thank you for several months, though I never forgot the fabulous time I spent in your magnificent mansion. You took such special care of me -- tending to my every need. I especially enjoyed my welcome and pampering service escorting me to my Massage School daily. My private tour guide (whose name has escaped me) was also a lovely new friend. Thank you so very much. I hope, should you ever decide to visit San Francisco, you will contact me so that I may return the hospitality. Warmly, Nancy Holland San Francisco Tour Director
We had a wonderful stay at Jaiya Mongkol. Khun Norachai and his family are most gracious hosts, and the house is magnificent. Our tours with Joe were a delight. In short, we strongly recommend it for anyone visiting the Chang Mai area.
We were fortunate to of stayed at this wonderful bed & breakfast for three nights from the 24th Dec 2002 to the 27th dec 2002.This was our first visit to Thailand but hopefully not our last.We so enjoyed our stay at Jaya Mongkol a very unique experience. We feel very fortunate to of stayed in this beautiful thai home with such beautiful grounds, and not be with lots of other tourists.Norachai was a charming host and nothing was to much trouble. We especially enjoyed our days out with Jo.Who showed us round the Chang Mai region he really made our stay thank you Jo.We will certainly visit Thailand again and of course stay with Norrachai at Jaya Mongkol this time we will stay longer. We would recommend any one to stay at this charming Bed & Breakfast and a must is to book Jo as your guide who is a real gentleman very curtious and considerate.
We wrote in your guest book at your beautiful home, but did not update the website for you!Now,1 year later,we celebrate our first 'paper' wedding anniversary.Thank you for letting us have our wedding at your home.It was and still is the best day we have spent together.Everything was beautiful and romantic, like our dream come true. The best wedding we hoped for!So 1 year later we are still wed,and I even still have my Thai wedding bands around my wrist(I am proud to say!)Thank you again, for making your home our home.We shall visit Chiang Mai many more times in the future, and will hope to see you again!Chok Di,Kop Khun Maak Ka.Tracy and Tim
My wife and I stayed at Jaiya Mongkol from October 15th to the 20th, 2002. I realize that has been some time ago, but this is the first opportunity that I have had to send this since returning home. Nevertheless, it is just as sincere and it comes from the heart. Jaiya Mongkol was a wonderful base from which to explore Chiang Mai and northern Thailand. We loved the traditional teak house and beautiful grounds. Norachai, his family, and staff were all so accommodating and made our stay one that we will never forget. Each morning we were awakened by roosters crowing and birds singing out in the yard. We welcomed the sounds of nature after the noise and hustle and bustle of Bangkok! Norachai is an interesting man and was a wonderful host making sure that every aspect of our stay was a cultural experience. Breakfast consisted of something new and unique everyday. Norachai is very well known in the Chiang Mai area and makes sure that his guests are well taken care of. We truly enjoyed our Thai massages and delicious dinner at The Rainforest restaurant. Because of his knowledge of the area we did not see any other tourists during those outings. Norachai's business associate, Joe, was also wonderful. He took us to many interesting places in the Chiang Mai area and we enjoyed hours of great conversation as we discussed aspects of our cultures. So, if you want to make wonderful new friends, see beautiful places, and learn about an incredible culture with some of the nicest people in the world, than Jaiya Mongkol is the place for you. Also, do not miss the once-in-a-lifetime chance to go on a hilltribe trek! The night bazaar and the old city are also must dos for any visit to Chiang Mai.
Well, we just need to continue the unbroken string of accolades for Jaiya Mongkul and the wonderful Norachai and Mon. We have stayed at hotels and B&Bs in many places, and none compare with J-M. Weather caused us to change our plans more than once, and Norachai was there to help and put us up, even once needing to move his children so we'd have a room. The house, the family, the food, the staff were all FABULOUS. Norachai had everything under control except the weather, but his smile made up for the unanticipated rain. Don't miss a stay at Jaiya Mongkul!
Hallo, ich will mal hier in Deutsch schreiben.
Hope to visit you next year.
This is by far THE most incredible cooking experience I"ve ever had. The staff was funny and friendly. When I got home I tried out several of the recipes I learned and to my delight my husband (who grew up in Thailand) thought they were the real deal!! Can't wait to come back....
I've been to thailand a few times before but have never experienced a cooking class. I did the one day course and had a blast! The teacher was funny and informative and made everything so easy to learn. Thank you for a great day that I'll never forget! The food was awesome and so was the Gap house and everyone there. Thank you
Thanks so much for being so nice and showing me around a lot during my trip. Thanks to you, I was able to have a great time. If I go to Chiang mai again, I will definitely visit and stay your hotel. Thanks.
I have known Norachai for more than 30 years from when he was a student in the UK. The 2 entries in the guest book from DEEPTAK and MARK AUSTIN advertising the sale of drugs are in no way connected with Norachai or JAIYA MONGKOL and have been added to the guest book with out consent.I feel disgusted that people would stoop so low to use such a fine establishment as JAIYA MONGKOL to peddle their wares, and in doing so, posibly tarnish the reputation of JAIYA MONGKOL. For any one reading this, please ignore the 2 entries I have mentioned, and read the many entries from those that have actualy stayed at JAIYA MONGKOL. For those that have not stayed at JAIYA MONGKOL, I thoroughly recoment it, you dont know what you are missing.
Dear Khun Norachai I stayed at your house in the middle of March, 2002. Everything was increadible. I have stayed at so many hotels in the world so far, but I think your house is the best. I really apprecite your kindness. I really hope to visit you again and again. Thank you very much. Best regards, Daisuke Sagiya
helo how mach bhats per 1 night singel ? thanks
Goind to sleep with the song of crickets and awaking with the roosters and birds was something I had forgotten. Watching the sunrise from the window and sunset sitting at my balcony was a treat. Dear Norachai and Mon, you gave me a wonderful week of memories staying with you at your beautiful home and made me feel so much at ease. I can't forget all the little things you did for me, escorting me everywhere and waiting up to make sure I had a good time. Having also Joe guiding me around the country side was a dream come true. For a single lady traveling alone I couldn't have asked for a better combination. I am looking forward visiting again and coming "home" to Chiang Mai, enjoying the delightful morning feasts for breakfast. Every day was a delightful surprise. I am looking forward in sharing this great find with my clients as well with other friends visiting Thailand. With love, respect and many thanks. Khob kuhn ka mak mak Stella
This B+B is exactly what you should be looking for! Our first trip to Thailand would never have been as perfect had it not been for all the caring attention by Khun Norachai and his staff. He truly does all he can to make your visit comfortable. Take advantage of the great private tours you can arrange...especially an elephant ride! And don't forget to ask for restaurant suggestions, shopping hints and a cultural/history lesson over breakfast. Speaking of breakfast...Khun Norachai happily brings to the table a different tropical Thai fruit every morning...a real treat!
Dear Khun Norachai and Khun Naruemol, Our trip to Thailand was truly our "trip of a lifetime", filled with adventures and memorable interactions with the Thai people. Here is what we will remember most about our stay in Chiang Mai at Jaiya Mongkol. A wonderful Christmas day with holiday music playing and the decorated tree in front of Jaiya Mongkol. The barbecue dinner on Christmas night and enjoying that special meal with our fellow travelers, your friends, and your family. The kind assistance you provided when we were faced with the prospect of being without a hotel in Chiang Rai over the New Year's holiday. (We weren't homeless, or even close to it, as it turned out.) Walking in the village near your house in the early morning, sampling chaaw man or some other interesting snack and talking with the people there. And our many adventures in the Chiang Mai region with Khun Joe, that patient and capable guide and driver. Khun Norachai, most of all we appreciated your tremendous warmth and the hospitality you provided us throughout our stay at Jaiya Mongkol. Of course, the accommodations in your lovely home were fabulous. Tom McAuliff & Janella Pennington Charlotte, VT USA
We have read all the positive messages on your board and are so much looking forward to spending our dream wedding at your 'Happy Winner'
A truly memorable stay, that will be with us for the rest of our lives. Thank you Mon and Norachai, we love you
We had a wonderful few days here in August/ September 2001. Not nearly long enough. Very kind people, good to our children, lovely breakfasts and a beautiful house and garden. We hope to return one day soon.
Norachai & family, It's been almost a year now since we stayed at your beautiful home. We were with you at the end of December 2000. We really loved our stay with you and wish we could do it all over again. I think we will be reminded of it every Christmas from now on. What a cherised memory! The 4' statue that you helped us find arrived safely home and looks great. It's a daily reminder of our stay with you and our grat trip to Thailand. Hope you and family are well. What about that trip to Canada to show your children the beautiful winters! Take Care. Marie-Josée & Werner
Sa Wadi Ka! What a truly special place! 10/12/01 This was my first visit to Asia and Thailand. 9/1/01-9/15/01 I am a 30 year old woman who was traveling alone. My time in Chiang Mai was the most memorable of my whole trip. It was truly a Thai experiance. If that is what you are seeking, then Chiang Mai and Jaiya Mongkol is the place for you. I was only able to stay for about 3 nights, but I wish it could have been longer. Norachai and his family and staff were so helpful and accomidating. Its diffifult for me to tell you how important my time here was. Norachai put me in touch with his friend, Joe, who took a great deal of care touring me around each day that I was there. With Joe, I took an elephant trek, bamboo raft, and drive up to Chiang Dao to the temple there. He took lots of time with me, stopping on the way to tour the local markets. On a different day we drove up to Chiang Rai, Chiang Saen, crossed into Laos by longtail boat, and then crossed into Burma. Glad he was there for Burma beacuse I would have probably gotten lost (or not realized there is an hour time difference between Burma and Thailand) and not made it back over to the Thai side by 5:00 when they close the boarder for the evening. In the evenings, Norachai drove me to wonderful dinners, ate with me and walked around the night market. Each morning he made me a special breakfast using local fruit and taking time to explain to me customs, Thai phrases, etc. . . The accomidations are spectacular! Norachai has truly built himself a dreamhouse here. The rooms have windows all around. Lavishly furnished with beautiful teak pieces. Western style marble bathrooms, central air, and amazing views. I think I spent a whole roll of film on the house and the gardens alone. Very traditional Thai!. Lots a fresh air and peace and quite. (which was very welcome after Bangkok). Clearly I can go on and on! The bottom line is that you need to stay here. Ask for Joe to be your guide and tell Norachai that you want to eat at The Rainforest. I promise you you won't want to leave. I think I teared up when I signed his guestbook the morning I had to move on. I've been home about a month now and not a day has gone by that I didn't think about my time here and the wonderful people I met. Kop Kun Ka - Sarah P. Great website, hotel, information, diving, weather & holidays! Thank you - Oh from Ko Lanta / Koh Lanta - www.kolanta.net
We had a wonderful time in Chiang Mai, and we attribute most of that to staying at Jaiya Mongkol. The house and grounds are truly beautiful with all details great and small taken care of, from the landscaping to the gourmet breakfasts with different local fruit each day. Not only was the house wonderful, but we had the pleasure of having Norman and Joe be our host during the day to ensure that we saw all the best of the Chiang Mai region. We would recommend Jaiya Mongkol to anyone visiting Thailand. It was a unique Thai experience to be enjoyed by anyone.
Dear Norachai and family,Sorry, Norachai, we are a bit late in placing this entry in your online guestbook. We stayed with you in November but we have not forgotten our experience of your warm hospitality and gracious service to us.
We stated in your written guestbook that you were worth ten stars and we meant that. To say that what you did for us was over and above the call of duty would be to understate the case. The level of attention and consideration you afforded us was better than we have enjoyed anywhere else in the world!!
The four days Erica and I spent with you helped to make the three weeks we had in Thailand the best holiday we ever had.
We would like to thank you so much and to ask if you will have us back in December or January when we have another trip planned!
Kind Regards from Erica and Chris Crutchley

Hi, I am a student at Middle Tennessee State University and i'm thai. I am a interior design student and currently working on a project on teak wood thai house. I need to draw the house and the side elvation and foreplan. I was wondering if you could give me any help. thanks
Please let Norachai know how happy both me and David were to stay at his lovely home. I miss the Pommeranians terribly! The room was beautiful and our New Years Eve meal was especially yummy. The elephants were pretty amazing, too. It was my favorite stay in all of Thailand. We have amazing memories of this portion of our trip; only wish we had taken more pictures there. I have already told many people about the lovely accommodations and hospitality and will be sure to keep you card handy to pass it along. Thank you so much again!!!!!!
Pure heaven... thank you Khun Norachai for making this vacation so memorable for Andrew and me. We plan to be back real soon.
We and some friends recently (Dec 25-30 2000) had the pleasure of staying with Khun Norachai (a former Bangkok Post executive who spent many years in England), his friendly family and staff, and Joe, his business associate and a guest house manager in his own right. Like so many others that have contributed to this guestbook, we only wish we had come to Jaiya Mongkol first rather than last - we might never have left. I suspect he would carry someone about on his shoulders if it would help them discover, enjoy, and understand the people, sights, and culture of Chiangmai and Thailand. At one point, we expressd curiosity about some of the housing developments we had seen nearby - the next thing we knew we were in his car visiting them. When we shared our love of "noodle shops" with him, within minutes we were enjoying his favorite Chinese noodle shop where we had a wonderful lunch ... I believe the cost for three people was less than two dollars. Jaiya Mongkol provides a beautifully landscaped oasis of serenity (I know, corny - but true) only minutes from town, in a magnificent home set next to a small village which supports itself with woodcarving and where the alarm clock was a rooster (ok - roosters) who never failed to greet the sunrise. Yet with Khun Norachai's breakfasts, somehow you never minded. I must advise it gets quite chilly in the evenings, something you don't seem to notice in the city, so bring some long pants and a good sweater or jacket. I can give no stronger recommendation to Jaiya Mongkol beyond our intention to return one day, and that we feel that Khun Norachai has become not only our favorite innkeeper but, in a sense, a new friend. If you go, I hope you feel the same. Khun Norachai - thank you! Regards/Neil, Debra, and McLane Heckman
I am very late in submitting this comment for the guestbook -- apologies to Norachai! We (my husband, 2-year old daughter, and I) were guests at Jaiya Mongkol for 6 nights in Oct.- Nov. 2000 and found not only Jaiya Mongkol to be a little piece of paradise but Norachai and his family to be the most gracious of hosts and I would like to share a story here about how Norachai personally went way above the call of duty for his guests. During our last evening there, we had a minor disaster when we discovered that we had lost our passports! We had plans to leave the next day and decided to keep those plans as we couldn't really do anything more than we had already done (Norachai had taken us to the tourist police to fill out a report) and the American Embassy was closed as it was the weekend. Norachai assured us that he would follow-up on our behalf and would do everything he could to ensure the safe return of our passports. Long story short: Our passports (and other items) were safely recovered and with no small amount of inconvenience to Norachai, he was able to express mail it to us while we were still in Thailand. We will be eternally grateful to him for following up on our behalf and enabling the safe return of our passports! Thank you again, Norachai, and your lovely family. Our stay at the Jaiya Mongkol was the highlight of our vacation in Thailand and I will always recommend your place (and Chiang Mai) whenever anyone mentions that they are going to Thailand. A note to potential guests: Please be courteous to Norachai and his family and try and leave a note -- however brief it may be -- in the guestbook when you depart. Norachai does not advertise except on the Internet and it's a big part of his website. Thank you.
Dear Norachai and family First of all I would like to thank you and your family for making us feel so much at home, as always !!! Nicholas and Christopher send their own special thank you and look forward to seeing Tom and Eve next year. This, our third visit to your house leaves us with even a greater want to return to your oasis of tranquillity. Your guidance and expert knowledge led us to many spots that tourists can only dream about. Having read through your guest book it seems hard to add to what has already been written. However, the one thing that shines through is everyone's agreement that the hospitality and friendship offered by Mon and you are excellent. I highly recommend Jaiya Mongkol, and your hospitality to visitors of this site. Sawatdee Khrap Graham, Melinda and the Boys !!
As a woman traveling alone in Thailand, I considered my stay at this elegant B&B to be the highlight of my trip. The house itself is a work of art, and my guest room and private deck were wonderful for writing in my journal and resting. But the best part was how Norachai (the owner) took care of me, arranged day trips for me, suggested places that he knew I would like based on what I had told him about myself . . . I've rarely felt so pampered! Whether you're traveling with someone or alone, I recommend this B&B as your home base. Like me, you won't want to leave!
I have just looked at the pictures that I took while staying at your wonderful B&B. I shall always remember the wonderful few days that I stayed at your beautiful home. I would recommend your place to anyone visiting the Chiang Mai area. I will certainly stay there again when I next visit. Your teak house is incredible and your hospitality is unmatched.
Within minutes of meeting Norman, our host, and his associate "Crazy Joe", I knew that the group I was with had made a special choice. After I saw the house, I thought it would take an act of congress to remove me from the premesis. Many thanks to Norman and his staff for making us so comfortable. And thank you Norman for making my last hours in Chiang Mai so memorable.
This B&B in Northern Thailand was the absolute hightlight of our trip. Thanks to Norm and his family we had a sense of the thai spirit and the warmth of the people of the north. Norman is a fascinating man and his answers to our many questions were greatly appreiciated. I can't wait to come and stay at this woderful resort/ B&B again. But this time I want to spend more time just relaxing on the gorgeous verandas and looking over the wonderful garden. see you again soon. sincerely, Lauren Shannon
Jaiya Mongkol is a hidden oasis in Northern Thailand. We were very fortunate to have come upon their web page while researching for a place to stay while in the north. Norachai(Norman)and Mon are incredible ambassadors for Thailand. Their assistance in planning day trips and Joe's personal guided tours all contributed to our most memorable moments while in Thailand. The services, tours, comfort and hospitality of the B&B and tours were 1st class. Thank you Norman, Mon and Joe. Clifford & Renee Perlman
It very beautiful resort thank you very much
The following entries were taken from the handwritten guest book at Jaiya Mongkohn, from before this online guest book existed. When you visit Jaiya Mongkohn, please ask to see the pictures and many wonderful comments of our guests.Name: Ken + Natsuko
Thank you for your kindness during stay at your home. We have experiece "Real Northern Thai" owing to Khun Norachai. I have seen some beautiful birds from your garden.
This was the most special part of our visit to Thailand. We love your hosue. Joe was the best tour guide I've had through all my travels. Can';t wait to visit here again.
You are wonderful hosts and your home is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in downtown Chiang Mai for 5 nights before coming to your country home. The contrast has been amazing as Thailand itself, and it is only 15 minutes from the city. Nothing we have seen has been as graceful and beautiful as your home. We feel very privileged to have stayed with you.
Thank your very much for making our stay at your wonderful home unforgetable. We are deeply touched by your generous hospitality and friendliness. You are the finest hosts we can imagine, taking care of everything, knowing our wishes and desires by just looking at our eyes. We very much appreciated that you spent your time with us, teaching us cooking, visiting the famous Chiang Mai handicraft centers and markets and even the doctor.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and welcoming us to your home. Our stay with you was the highlight of our visit to Thailand. The kids had a great time with the dogs, cats, birds, etc.
We felt as though we were visiting good friends who could help us understand the Thai culture. We felt we were entertained from the heart, not the pocketbook.
Norman so charmed us with his grace and hospitality as well as flooring us with his erudition that we tore up all our fixed plans and placed ourselves entirely in his hands. Were we ever right! He showed us a Thailand we could never have seen on our own - an intimate, sensual, informed experience, the vistas of an insider.
Thank you to the Internet. I just type Bangkok.com, Northern Thailand, Hotels, and click on Jaiya Mongkol Bed and Breakfast. That's it. Is is simple and discover the most beautiful B&B. It is paradise. "The pearl of paradise" And the family that owns this extraordinary house is the kindest and warmest family I ever met. They make you feel at home - always smiling and take care of you as you were a part of the family.
Wow! Amazing Thailand. Amazing hospitality. Every trip yields one truly special place and your home has been it for us. From your willingness to open up your home and make us feel truly part of it to Khun Joe's warm smile.
Thank you for providing the highlight of our trip to Thailand ! The warmth of your family, the beauty of your home and the wonderful food was imagined. We look forward to coming back.
It is now many weeks since we left your home and flew back to Edinburgh. Our memories are still fresh when we remember the fun and exceptional hospitality given.
We found this little piece of heaven on the Internet and it was more beautiful than we thought it would be. We came here to relax, for unfortunately only one day, but it was worth it. You and your family and staff made us feel very rich for one day.
We thank you for your hospitality and your house is the most incredible we have ever seen. It is a beautiful and lovely house and garden. We love it all.
Coming to Chiang Mai from Shanghai we were looking for three things, greenery, tranquility and perhaps something a little bit different. I have to say that your wonderful house has woven together all three, but has also added genuine Thai hospitality.
Your hospitality and graciousness are unsurpassed - thank you for taking us into your beautiful home. To Mon, for your delicious "Chorke" (rice porridge) and hearty breakfasts and for matching beautiful Chiang Mai with your kindness and generosity.
Your family and staff made us feel most welcome in Thailand. We will cherish always our stay with you and our visit to Thailand.
I can't tell you how grateful I am for the experience I was privileged to have by meeting your family. I thank you most sincerely for your warm welcome of a stranger like me into your home.
